Well, I don't really miss the corporate holiday get togethers much, so that's not a problem for me. Also, my husband's company has a really nice party so I get to enjoy that. Thank goodness for that basic black dress, I haven't purchased any "dress up" clothing in the last four years. I will hopefully be baking cookies with my kids, humming Christmas carols and enjoying the spirit of the season.
I decided that my company is unofficially "shut down" during the holiday week. Pre holidays are very busy for us and by the week between Christmas and New Year's orders should be almost non existent. Of course, I'll do an occasional email check but I anticipate that everyone else is also on coast during that week.
